# Hostname and DNS Configuration

> System -> Hardware -> Network

In this section, you can configure the following three parameters:

* Hostname
* Primary DNS
* Secondary DNS

For successful AD authentication, ensure the hostname is 15 characters or fewer. Properly configure DNS to ensure accurate DNS-to-IP resolution.
