Tape Library Management

Native connection support

Nodeum supports tape library management through three connection types:

• SCSI over Fibre Channel: Manages SCSI-based tape libraries over Fibre Channel.

• SCSI over SAS: Manages SCSI-based tape libraries over SAS.

• ACSLS: Manages Oracle StorageTek tape libraries through an ACSLS server.

Library Management with ACSLS:

Use ACSLS to manage supported Oracle StorageTek tape libraries through an ACSLS server.

Supported Operations:

Nodeum automates tape library operations, including tape mounting and unmounting during read and write tasks.

Tape Drive Generations:

The system supports LTO tape drives from LTO5 to LTO10, handling automated functions like tape and LTFS mounting/unmounting.
