Tape Protection

You can protect a tape by 2 solutions. If needed you can activate an option on a specific to avoid the writing or the format on a tape. Either you activate the protection manually directly on the tape or in applying a software protection.

Activate the Protection with the Software

Go to Trend analytic | Tape Reporting

choose the tape you have to enable the protection. Click to Lock

Then, you can see the protection actived.
