# Install & Deploy

Install Nodeum using the supported deployment method for this product line.

Before you run an install or upgrade:

* Validate OS and sizing requirements in [Compatibility](/data-archiving/compatibility-guide.md).
* Prepare the host (DNS, time sync, basic configuration) in [Getting Started](/data-archiving/getting-started.md).
