The software can be deployed on Physical or Virtual Server.

Tape Libraries are not supported on Virtual Machine.

To configure the connection of a Tape Library, only the installation of Nodeum on a physical server is certified.

To get the most of the software, we recommend the following specifications:

Up to 1 Billion Files

For advanced configuration and setup, please contact our support team. They will assist you in validating the appropriate architecture sizing.

Disk Partitioning

The standard disk partitioning is recommended. For specific disk and volume partitioning, the requirements are as follows:

  • /opt/ minimum size of 10GB

  • /home/ minimum size of 10GB

  • /var/ minimum size of 100GB can vary depending on number of contents managed and indexed

  • /tmp/ minimum size of 10GB
